Hunting for the Perfect Dress

Searching for a wedding gown is no easy task!, and this is the second gown that I tried on, travelling from store to store. This store was nice, but then again, I went there on a Friday with my mother and sister and it was not busy, it was small and the service was nice, but the dress prices were high, this particular dress had a $1200 tag on it!.

I seriously thought about this dress, even went as far as trying on the headpiece, the back was spectacular, and exactly what I was looking for as well as the front, the headpiece made the dress look perfect. I actually chose another dress, but if it not for the price this would have been my choice.

A Labour Day Wedding, 1996

For all of the years and tons of Weddings that I have been in, this was the first occasion that I actually wore a dress with a colour other than a solid or a floral, and this dress was special for a few other reasons.

A Cute Little Dress I was really happy to wear this dress to a friends Wedding for a couple of reasons, firstly, we did not have to get dyed satin heels, simple 3" black patent heels worked, as well, I got to use a piece of lingerie I had to use on another dress with a low back, and that was an expenisve low-backed bra..

My first wedding, June of 1988

My sister's wedding in June of 1988, my first that I was a bridesmaid, the day was a VERY cool June, and I was frozen while this picture was taken.

I later wore this bridesmaid's dress to a formal, and that is the only bridesmaid's dress that was traditional I wore other than the wedding.

All of the weddings I have been in has caused more than enough closet congestion!

"Blowin' in the wind"

I thought this was going to be the last wedding party I was going to be in, but that was not the case as my brothers bride to be asked me to stand at her side for a Labour Day wedding in 1995. I thought this was going to be my last, but I was wrong as in December of 1995, I was asked by my youngest sister.......

She insisted on this colour and style of dress and I liked it as well, the thing I remember about getting this dress is going in the closet and actually finding a pair of satin heels from another wedding and the colour matching!, thus a savings of over $60!!.

My dress from the back, and another reason why you need a bridesmaid on your wedding day.

They say the wedding dress is the sexiest dress you will ever wear, and to this day, I agree.

A lovely Satin/Lace Bridesmaid's Dress

This dress has been used for a few occasions, as a Bridesmaid at a cousin's Wedding, as a formal at a few company parties, and simply as a dress worn for a special dinner with my spouse.

Yet another Fusia Bridesmaid's Dress!

A wedding from a couple of years ago, this dress looked the best on all of the girls, and my boyfriend at the time was into photography and asked me to pose for these pictures, and I really liked the way they turned out!.

A Pretty Dress This dress was chosen by myself and another bridesmaid, both of us thought it was pretty and we both thought it look great on us both. The wedding was nice and the dress was pretty enough that I could wear it to another formal event.

A Wedding present from my Spouse

My spouse is fond of Trish Romances and and she found this print and found it perfect for the occasion and gave it to me as her wedding gift to me.

Still Hunting!!

Another shop I made an appointment with, treated me like a Princess!!, I recommend this shop for any bride in the Burlington/Hamilton/Oakville area, they were fantastic!. Email me for the name and address, if you want to find the perfect dress, and not get hassles, this IS the place, warm and friendly.

I tried on a few gowns this night, and finally found the dress of my dreams, the sales staff was accomodating, and made me feel very special.

A Special Wedding 1998

I flew to California to my best friends Wedding and how we chose the dress between myself and 3 other Bridesmaid's was that we used the Internet and believe it or not this dress was found on Frederick's Of Hollywood's Web site. I never met the other girls in the Wedding party until the three days before the Wedding and the dress was a perfect fit for all of us!.
