Here we are, Sharon and I at the dinner theatre in January of 1996, the photo taken by our waitress, "the velvet twins" Sharon called us. Sharon was in a red velvet dress, and mine a green, both off the shoulder in style, , both with matching gold anklets, and both of us wore identical pantyhose and combination of lipstick and nailpolish. To complete the "twins" look, we both also had on black patent heels, hers 3", and mine 4".
I was given this dress by my spouses sister, she had outgrown it, and I needed a dress for an occasion, and this one is really nice to wear, however the sheer mesh around the collar means that you need a strapless with it, yuk......

My first Velvet dress
Back in 1988, I found this dress in a consignment store, the lady that ran the store
told me that brand new it was worth $300, and I got it for $60, a good deal don't
you think?.
My Christmas Holiday Dress for 1994Believe it or not, the best time to go shopping for your Christmas formal is in January of the year you are going to wear it for Christmas parties. I tried on this dress in November of 1993, and it was $190, but in late January of 1994, I picked it up clearance for only $75!, and wore it for Christmas of 1994!.
"Over The Edge"
On one of the trips to the flower gardens when I was posing for a friend,
I posed in one of my favorite dresses. I wore this dress to my high school prom, it cost me
all of $20, on the beach in Mexico, I loved hanging with the girls that had their mothers
spend $180 and $220 on formal gowns!!!!.
A Sexy Red Lace Slip-Dress
This was the dress that I got when I was Christmas shopping in 1995 and the girl that was helping me was right, this was defintely a good choice, combined with the red heels, this dress got lots of attention, and I did not mind one bit!.

I got this dress for a cruise my spouse and I went on in 1996, and this summer, her and I were invited to a an exclusive party, Sharon inisted that I looked my best and once again insisted in me wearing my 4 1/2" strappy heels. The heels were not too hard to manage, but what was hard was the fact my bra, even as low backed as it was, kept on sliding up and I had to make sure I was constantly pushing below the very low back of the dress.
This was one of those dresses that was really expensive and very "touchy" to
wear, the sequins forever fall off when you rub up against things and you
cannot get it dry cleaned.
But for all of those hassels it is a stunning looking dress and one I have worn to a
few parties and looked dynamite!, especially with the silver heels and matching purse.
I needed a dress for a summer wedding (as a guest), and my boyfriend at the time loved me in lace, so I tried to accomodate him and this is the dress I chose, it was floor length, and with a pair of strappy 4" heels, it looked perfect!, I don't like boys anymore, but I still love the dress!.
