T
he time had come for another trip that Sharon and I were to go
on, shopping for Christmas presents. In the past, Sharon and I would
drive to a local mall, then separate and shop for about an hour and a
half then meet and go for lunch, and this year it was not different.
This year we planned on heading to my favorite mall in the whole
world, Square One in Mississauga, then going for lunch at an old
favorite place we use to frequent.
When I go out with Sharon, I typically like to find something in my wardrobe that I have not worn our previously, and try to find something new and "business" was not that easy, and after lots of scanning through the closets and trying on different outfits, I decided that I would go with a red turtleneck and brown suede skirt, with a wide red belt and my favorite black, 3 1/2" heels. Although this was not a new outfit to wear, I found that other new outfits had too short of a skirt and would attract too much attention, and decided on the above mentioned outfit.
As the day of the shopping trip approached, I started making a list of things to get and the number one thing on the top of my list was a short green plaid skirt, or a kilt, around these areas, the "schoolgirl" look is "in", and I did not want to be left out. I also remembered the store I found my beautiful sequined dress at and made a note to make sure I visit that store.
The day arrived and as Sharon took the kids to the baby-sitters, I was all excited and started to get ready. The "business" look for me was already a routine, so slipping my face on was not a long task, and after I slipped into my panties, bra and nude hose for the day, I had my makeup on in a record 10 minutes!. Makeup was as follows, purple and pink shades for my eyes, black eyeliner and mascara, and light pink blush, with my "Gilded Rose" lipstick to complete the look. I took my time after getting my face on and slipped on my pink silk makeup coat, and took out a bottle of my favorite nailpoilsh to match my lipstick. Once my nails were dry, then a healthy spritz of "Obsession" perfume, my gold anklet, my gold watch and my skirt and sweater. I was all ready for Sharon, when she called and we talked, she was going to be wearing jeans and a sweater, with her flats, and at that time I felt overdressed, so I started looking around. I found a jean skirt and slipped it on, and waited for Sharon to come home.
Once home Sharon looked me over and asked why I had on the jean skirt, and I told her why, and she said "nonsense, put on your suede skirt, it looks better", and so I did, and she was right it did look better, and I felt better about looking professional.
Sharon and I arrived at the mall, and walked to our yearly meeting and departure place in the centre of the mall. Of course we both then had the same idea of finding a ladies room, and ended up in a large retail store washroom together, fixing our hair and lipstick at the mirror. After that we went our separate ways and I was in seventh heaven!.
I popped in and out of my favorite stores, and this mall has TONS of stores for women shoppers, everything from sports to evening gowns for women, it is fantastic. One of my favorite stores in this mall is a trendy little store that caters to the younger female shoppers, and always has the latest and greatest. Well, I did not find my green kilt, but I did run across some "P" leather skirts (PVC leather look alike skirts), and some of these were great, short, sexy and hot looking. I was greeted by a salesman, and informed him I wanted to try one on, and the lead me to the change area at the back of the store. I slipped the skirt on and then left the change area, and remembered that this change area is at the back of the store and when you walk out you are in a large area were there are quite a few people waiting for friends, wives, girlfriends, etc. I loved it as I looked at myself in the mirror and catching other girls and guys staring at my legs peeking out from under the short skirt, the skirt was also very sexy with a zipper up the front, I loved it. What was even more exciting was the fact the skirt was too big!, yes big!, and I had to ask the salesman, who was looking after me to get the next size smaller!. Once I tried on the new size the fit was perfect and I informed the salesman, after changing, that I would return later.
I left that store and only a few stores down was my next stop, the jewelry store I always hit, as they have a large and wonderful collection and selection of clip on jewelry. I looked around and remembered the salesgirl behind the counter who came to me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular, and I told her no, and I found two sets of earrings that were perfect for a formal dress, one had fake diamonds in them, and the other little pearl drop earrings. I paid for my purchase and headed in the mall for my favorite store in the mall that specializes in petite fashions of all styles from casual to formal.
Once in the store I looked around and found that this year the dress I bought last year at this same store was not what was in style but sequined blouses were, at $150!!, a piece, no thanks. I looked around and was stopped by a woman, probably about 40 holding a very pretty black evening dress to her body how it looked against her body, and if it was right for her. I smiled and basically told her that I was not the right person to ask (I think she thought I worked there), and did comment that the dress was very pretty, she smiled and said "thanks".
I left that store and headed to a store that is a retail chain, and here in Southern Ontario, can be found in almost any major shopping centre and this store is called, "Reitmans", they specialize in women's clothes of all styles, casual, formal, lingerie, etc., a must stop for women shoppers. I started looking around the store when all off a sudden a sign that read "sale 25% off" caught the corner of my eye, and drifted towards the rack. When I got there, the sight that was before me, caused my heart to skip a beat, there were the gorgeous evening dresses, for $45!, I pick two different styles up to try on, on was a purple style with a sexy flared skirt and a bolero jacket, and the other a lacy, "slip dress", form fitting and short. I went to the counter and indicated I wanted to try on the dresses and the salesgirl at the front counter gave me two tags and showed me to the change area, which was a much more private area, with a mirror you could view the dress in without the rest of the store seeing you.
The girl told me to call of I needed any help, and I told her thanks and she closed the door to the change area as she left. I tried the purple dress on first and left the cubicle I was in and looked at myself in the mirror, the dress was pretty, but not very figure flattering. I noticed in the mirror that the cleavage in the front of the dress had my slip showing, and I thought that was sexy. I tried to get the attention of the salesgirl that was looking after me, but she had another woman customer trying on some pants. I finally got her attention and asked her to look at this dress, and the red one I was going to try on and give me her opinion, and she said no problem.
I slipped out of the purple dress and into the red one, and it was so nice and form fitting that it showed my figure off nicely, and my legs too. I knew right then and there it was perfect for me, and then I left the change area and looked at myself in the mirrors for a while then went to find the salesgirl, and in the process, ran across the women trying on the pants, coming out of her cubicle in her pantyhose and panties on (remember this change area is not in public view), but since this store and everyone around were women, she just looked at me and smiled as the salesgirl handed her a new pair. The salesgirl then looked at me, and motioned for me to turn around and I did, and when i looked back at her she said, "definitely the red", and I said I agreed and went back into the stall to change.
Once changed I slipped the dress back onto the hanger and made my way with the dress to the cashier, were I paid for the dress. The cashier asked me what it was for and I told her a Christmas party, and she commented on how pretty and sexy the dress was, and I told her I could not agree more.
Once I left Reitman's I continued to walk around the mall, and eventually ran across a little intimate lingerie shop, and decided to venture in to see if I could find a "real" garter belt, i.e., one with metal clips rather than plastic. I walked in and the saleslady was busy with another woman, she was explaining the finer points of a push up bra she was looking at, and I heard the conversation as I walked around, and the tone of the conversation was interesting and would not be going on if there was a man in earshot. I looked around and could not find any garter belts in the style I wanted so I left the store, and the saleslady and the woman talking.
About three stores down I spotted another store that looked like it catered to younger women, I decided to go in and started to look around. I was a approached by a very attractive salesgirl that had on a short skirt, low heels and a very tight sweater, and she asked me what I was looking for and when I told her it was a kilt, she pointed me to a spot were they had a few styles. I told her I liked the one style, and it was a black red and white kilt with a length that looked like it fall just above my knees. I picked it up and she asked me if I would like to try it on and I said yes, and was lead to a single change area near the cash and showed the cubicle. I slipped out of my brown suede skirt and into the kilt and then left the change area. The salesgirl was waiting for me and commented how pretty the skirt looked, and that it went my red turtleneck perfectly. I simple commented back, "yes it does match, and the length is perfect, not too long and not too short", and she agreed. I slipped back into the change room, and back into my suede skirt, and left the change area and told the salesgirl I was buying the kilt.
I left the store and decided that the "P" leather skirt I tried on earlier in the day was going to be mine, and I made my way back to the store. Once in the store the salesman that had talked to me earlier recognized the fact I was back and asked me if I would like to try the skirt on again, and I said I would, and headed back to the change areas and slipped into it. Once I saw my legs peeking out from under the skirt I knew I had to have it. I changed back, but only temporarily to the suede skirt, as I wanted to wear this skirt out of the store, and surprise Sharon. I paid for my purchase and had to wait a long time for some woman to buy half the store, and in the meantime, there was a group of young guys and girls waiting at the cash, and this one guy was eyeing me, and I had a thrill giving him glances back. After purchasing the skirt, i asked if I could change into it, and the salesman said sure, and I went back to the change areas and slipped into it and left the store. On the way out I did give the guy who was eyeing me one last look and smile.
Sharon was waiting in the pre-arranged location, and immediately noticed the fact I had changed my skirt and was wearing a new one, and smiled at me and noted that fact, I just smiled back, and asked her if she liked it, and she said, yes.
Sharon and I made our way to a restaurant that we used to frequent allot, and this was the restaurant we went to the night she asked me to be her wife, so that was special. We had a quiet lunch, the restaurant was kind of empty and I made a few trips to the ladies room, but there was no one I encountered. Sharon and chatted about our day over lunch and then after lunch we left the restaurant and on the way home, Sharon stopped at a woman that does most of my stitching and modifying of clothes, she does not know I am nothing other than a woman, and Maria, altered a couple of dresses for me.
Following that, Sharon drove us home, and once there I gave her a big kiss and thanked for a wonderful day and left me wrap my Christmas presents for another year.
